Here are the new features already included in BigPicture 5.0 for InDesign CS5:

- New Rename panel, for batch renaming picture links. You can use conditional rules and compose new picture names using variable templates. Includes a Preview window to see exactly how images will be renamed.
- Ability to switch to any open document without closing the BigPicture window.
- Ability to select a root folder to start a search.
- New multi-threaded search allows you to keep working while searching.
- Totally rewritten and optimized search engines.
- Ability to export the picture list as RTF, Word or PDF file.
- Live resizing of list and thumbnail views.
- Real-time, faster thumbnail generation and navigation.
- New contextual menus for file lists.
- Fully optimized for Adobe InDesign CS5.
- Improved speed: BigPicture 5.0 is 200% faster than BigPicture 4.0.
- Added tooltips for lists and search results.
- Added support for non-roman characters such as czech and chinese.
- Added Select Inverse to Select popup menu.
- Panels can be closed using their own Close button.
